Festival Bay at International Drive is the first center in
Orlando to combine unique retail shops and entertainment establishments
excluding typical department store anchors. The second phase of the
property, which opened on April 3, introduces several distinctive new
retail and entertainment concepts to the Orlando market.
Festival Bay at International Drive's design features intricate mosaic
tiles, a series of interconnected walkways and plazas designed around a
manmade waterfront "bay" in a scallop seashell shape. The center's décor
reflects a combination of Florida and Caribbean themes - incorporating
tropical images of seashells, fish, birds and palm trees into the
landscaping, signage and tiling.
